Filtration Manifolds
Connect multiple filtration positions to a vacuum line. Review connections, parallel use and sterilization needs.
LABORATORY / Laboratory Equipment
Match membrane packaging, diameter and clean-handling requirements to the laboratory workflow.

A membrane dispenser presents compatible packaged discs individually at a pickup position. It makes repeated handling more consistent and reduces direct manual contact. It does not change membrane retention or make a nonsterile membrane sterile. Packaging width, reel arrangement, disc diameter and pickup geometry must therefore be assessed as a combined consumable-and-tool system.
| Selection factor | What to compare |
|---|---|
| Packaging compatibility | Web width, reel core and indexing pitch determine feeding, not disc diameter alone. |
| Trigger method | Manual, button or sensor operation affects bench layout and use with gloves. |
| Cleaning access | The outlet and exterior need different treatment; protect internal drive components from liquid. |

Touch only permitted areas; stop and correct misfeeding rather than repeatedly handling the membrane.
Record the consumable lot, remove packaging fragments and inspect the outlet.
Compatibility depends on the actual packaging geometry and should be checked with the intended pack.
No. The tool, operator and work area remain part of contamination control; dispensing reduces only certain contacts.
